    hallmarked, c.1860, W.E (William Edwards), with emu and kangaroo marks, of circular form, with neoclassical border displaying cornucopia of fruit, vases, vines and lions, surrounding an inscription 'PRESENTED TO GEORGE JAMES SHEPARD ESQ. AS A LIGHT RECOGNITION OF THE VALUABLE SERVICES WHICH HE HAS RENDERED AS HONORARY SECRETARY TO THE COMMITTEE & CONGREGATION OF TRINITY CHURCH, FITZROY SQUARE IN THE DIOCESE OF MELBOURNE, DEC. 31ST, 1867,' surrounded by engraved grapevine motifs and raised on three feet, total weight 544gm, diameter 23.5cm
