• Notes:
  The National Gallery Society sponsored a group of colour lithographs by leading Australian artists between 1963-1965 to be made available to members of the Society. All prints were to be of uniform size, drawn on lithographic plates by the artist and printed in three colours by Janet Dawson, on heavily hand-made paper blind stamped with the Gallery Society logo in the corner and issued in an edition of 52 (two hors commerce). Mountebanks by Donald Friend was a part of this commission.
