    A Dutch silver cream jug, c.1870
    1st grade fine silver, by A. BONEBAKKER & ZOON, Amsterdam; with assay mark of H.W. van Riel, Amsterdam,
    Height: 12.5cm, weight: 240 grams.
  • Notes:
    As a purveyor to the royal family, Bonebakker forged swords for the Princes of Orange, designed crockery sets for the Court and, in 1840, made the crown for King William II, which is still being used during coronation ceremonies to this day.
