• Notes:
  While studying medicine, Laurent Schkolnyk attended the School of Fine Arts in Nantes from 1971 to 1978. In 1987, he opened an art gallery devoted to engraving in this city while continuing his artistic work. His first mezzotints were in black and white, from 1980, began working in colors using the trichromie. For this, he engraves three brass plates, he draws on the same medium in primary yellow, magenta red and cyan blue. His favorite theme is still life.
