Label attached with cat. no. 0664\D stating "Various creatures are totemic to Dhalwangu people. The most important of these is Minhala (long necked freshwater tortise). Ngurrutj freshwater weeds hang from Minhala as they did from Barama (greatest Yirritja ancestral being) and his body is also covered with designs talking about freshwater in Dhalwagu country." -
