    painted with a continuous frieze of Sturt's desert pea, printed and impressed factory marks to base, 'L8928', artist mark in script 'EJG/EC/935'.

  • Notes:
    Emily J. Gilman was prominent towards the end of the nineteenth century and beginning of the twentieth. Her work was exhibited at the Paris Exhibition of 1900 and at St. Louis in 1904.
