Lot Description:A large finely painted famille rose gilt-ground vase, probably Republic Period
decorated in Ye Zhenjia style, the tall almost cylindrical body surmounted by a short waisted neck, painted with a large panel on either side enclosing legendary figure scenes within pink bat scroll borders, reserved on the overall gilt ground scattered with floral sprays below a turquoise-ground pink dragon scroll border around the shoulders, and a yellow-ground cloud collar border below the gilt edged mouth, the splayed foot with further lappet and diaper borders, the base inscribed in iron-red on gilt with an apocryphal six-character seal mark of Qianlong, box
