the civil official is wearing a silver pheasant rank badge on his lapis blue surcoat, over his dragon robe. His black felt hat has red silk cord & a gold hat knob. His long finger nails peeping from beneath the horseshoe shaped cuffs. His Manchu boots resting on the chair stretcher. Very fine detailing with hardwood terminals.
