  [MAP PUZZLE GAME]“GEOGRAPHISCHES GEDULDSPIEL” by Otto Maier - Ravensburg, c1880
  set of 6 engraved dissected puzzles, with a colour printed copy of each map loosely inserted, 28 x 31cm., decorative box with colour lithograph on lid. This lovely German puzzle-game, includes two circular puzzles of the Western and Eastern Hemispheres; the other four puzzles being of Europe. As the title of the game suggests (“geduldspiel” translates as “patience game”), patience was required to complete the set. All six puzzles are accompanied by a printed guide. Some light wear to box edges, and paper repairs, otherwise in very good original condition.
