• Notes:
  The ‘Fly’ is shown anchored off Sydney in starboard-broadside view, flanked either side by other shipping, with the city’s harbour-front buildings behind. Between November 1841 and July 1846, ‘Fly’ was commanded by Captain Francis Price Blackwood on the East Indies station, surveying the Torres Straits and northern coast of Australia.
