26.5 x 16.5cm and 18 x 14cm,
dated in pencil lower left “24 April 1841” -
Notes:Assumed to have been commissioned before Edgell emigrated to the new colony at Port Phillip. Edgell acquired the 26,000 acre Mount Piper pastoral run in 1842. It was located 90 kilometres north of Melbourne on land which would include the township of Broadford.
