Angus McBean was a Welsh photographer, set designer & cult figure in the Surrealist movement. Whilst working on The Happy Hypocrite, in 1936, he was commissioned to take a set of production photographs which included the young Vivien Leigh. He was to photograph for almost every performance she gave until her death thirty years later.
