• Notes:
  The original watercolour for this work is in the Collection of the Royal Society, London, on loan to the Tansmanian Museum & Art Gallery. When Bush Friends in Tasmania (first series) was published in 1860, her illustrations of Tasmanian wildflowers attracted particular attention. This was a sumptuous folio volume with cover design & lettered titles by her friend, Edward La Trobe Bateman. (The second series, an equally beautiful folio volume, was published in 1891).
