  Good Victorian sterling silver lidded comport
  Birmingham 1863, makers Elkington & Company, dual handles, with repeating English rose motifs on a footed base,decorated with thistles and shamrocks. The later Australian sterling silver finial of crossed tennis racquets and to the lid of the tureen, which also has the same1863 hallmark as the base. (height 45cm, weight 4,300 grams approx).
