A Rare Sacred Architectural Arched Gateway, Torana, Carved with a Diminutive Buddha & Two Makaras, Water Monsters, Tibet, 18th/19th Century
with mouth wide open & long snouts, scrolling roundels extending to a seated garuda with partially opened wings listening to the Buddha. Carved in five parts & painted with vegetable pigments of red, blue, yellow & green.
