  Arthur Murch travelled widely and this work could be based on a 'memory snapshot' from the Lismore area. He would make sketches in the field but didn't paint en plein air. Ria Murch purchased this work at auction in the 1990s. Arthur Murch often doubled-up on his naming and there may be other works titled 'Tapestry Trees.' Michelle Murch
