• Notes:
  Judith Murray has noted that Thomas Hamilton was an artist who lived in Wamberal, NSW. He moved to Australia from Scotland after World War I, where he lost a thumb & a leg. As a consequence of his war experience he was anti-imperialist and anti-capitalist. He formed a friendship with Roland Wakelin & visited him once a year in Sydney.
