  • Notes:
    On of these badges has been published in "Ruling from the Dragon Throne: Costume of the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 19110" by John E. Vollmer (Figure 4.41, page 123) In significant museum collections of rank badges there are fewer examples of 8th Rank Quails than any of the other ranks.
