John Williams Auctions
John Williams Auctions was a Sydney-based auction house. Their rooms were located in Ralph Street, Alexandria, a short distance from Green Square train station.
Concentrating on furniture, porcelain & ceramics, silver and jewellery, this auction house was founded by long-time antiques and auction world stalwart, John Williams. The rooms had a lovely old-world auction house feel and they have a terrific food stall with home-made cakes & delicious sandwiches to keep your hunger at bay for the duration of the auction. And the house dog, Bella (pictured amongst a variety of categories offered !) is there to welcome viewers as well.
2013 saw a change of format to their monthly sales, with the general & estate lots being offered on Saturday and Antiques & Collectables being offered in one session on Sunday.
The auction house closed at the end of June 2014.
Please note: The auction house has now closed, however we have retained this information along with the archive of their past catalogues.
