Lot Description:ARMSTRONG SIDDELEY CHEETAH X AERO ENGINE
manufactured in the early 1930’s. The engine has been modified for display purposes and for operation at air shows -
Notes:The Cheetah engine is a seven cylinder aircooled Radial engine with its cylinders equally spaced round a barrel type crankcase. The engine is designed to run a fixed pitch airscrew, left hand tractor and is moderately supercharged. The engine produces 325hp at 2300rpm at 6750ft. Fuel consumption is 20.5 gals per hour at cruising speed. Of Special Note: ♣ This Lot may require special handling or shipping due to size or fragility.
