    Mid-18thC blown milk glass apothecary bottle
    cylindrical with spreading foot and flaring mouth with disc stopper, painted with blue floral wreath with red and yellow flowers surmounted by a gold crown. Inscribed with black alchemical symbol and lettering: 'Vitriol (sulphate) TEMPER'; with disc stopper. Height 140.

    A 19thC London pharmacist, William Thomas Robinson, to his son by bequest, thence to his daughter our vendor.
