  of oval form, convex on the front & concave with lug handle on the back of the shield, the front of this shield is finely painted in ochre designs, in red, black & white.

  Provenance: Chis Zillman Collection (1920-2009), The Zillman Museum of Wonders, Imbil, Queensland. Correspondece with the previous owner said "Zillman said he bought it in c.1940 in Cairns saying it was from the Bedford Mission"
