  Wolseley pattern in Royal Navy colours, named to C.C.M.Usher. British hat manufactured by "Gieves Ltd, Royal Naval Outfitter, 21 Old Bond St, London W", and bearing the English flag on the inside. Circa 1916. Fitted in an 1910's METAL HAT BOX, bearing a small shield "Gieve, Matthews & Seagrove Ltd" and a second shield "Lieut G. Murray B... R.N".
