  2 Blow Guns & Darts
  Kandrian area, West New Britain, Papua New Guinea. The 2 bamboo blow guns are in 3 sections , each one being 3 lengths (180cm) each & the 2nd in 3 lengths (160cm) each. In New Guinea only the people of West New Britain made & used blow guns for hunting birds in the forest. This effective technology is widely used by the Dayak people on the island of Borneo in Indonesia, and how and when it arrived to this one area of New Guinea is unknown. These 2 exanples were collected in 1965-66 & were still being used at that time
