Lot Description:An old Tekke Turkoman tribal chuval (large bedding bag)
decorated with 16 gul motifs and secondary guls on a plum ground framed by a flowerhead border flanked by running dog motifs and with a deep panelled guard at the lower hem of the pile face, the woven backing material unfixed at the sides. 670 x 1250. -
