  An Edwardian silver pyx as a small plain rectangular box
  the hinged lid engraved ‘ihc’ within a starburst type frame, gilded interior. Chester 1905 by George Nathan & Wrigley Hayes. Note: A pyx is used in Catholic and Anglican churches to carry the consecrated post (Eucharist).
