  Pair of large antique Chinese carved ivory figures
  of a standing male & female in Emperor & Empress style. Late Qing, C:1900. Each with a seal carved to base & a carved rosewood stand. 63cm high (tallest - including stand) approx.
• Provenance:
  Acquired by the vendor's parents when living in Asia between 1950-70s. In 1972 they returned to Australia. Photos also available showing the item in situ in their house in Brunei in the late 1960s.
