Lot Description:A gilt bronze figure of Amitayus, Qing dynasty, Qianlong period
cast seated in dhyanasana on a rectangular plinth, the hands held in dhyanamudra, wearing a long robe draped over the left shoulder exposing the right shoulder and jewelled necklace, the face with meditative expression and the hair drawn into a high coiffure behind a five-leafed tiara, backed by a separately cast flaming mandorla, four characters inscribed on the interior of the lower base.
