Lot Description:A gilt bronze figure of Buddha, Mongolia, probably Dolonnor, Qahar region, Inner Mongolia, 18th century
seated in dhyanasana on a double lotus base, the right hand lowered in bhumisparsamudra and the left in dhyanamudra, wearing a shawl draped over the left shoulder falling over an undergarment gathered at the chest, and with a broad tasselled ruyi-shaped collar, the face with serene expression surmounted by a repoussé five-pointed diadem with trailing ribbons
