A Cinnabar Lacquer Vase, Carved with a Continuous Scene of Figures in a Garden, Qing Dynasty, 18th/19th Century
against a back drop of mountain peaks, on a diamond diaper pattern, the rounded body with a slender neck & a low waist on a splayed foot, intricate floral design on the shoulder, neck & toward the foot between narrow bands of key fret pattern.
H 34 cm

Condition: Converted to a lamp in the 1990s, drilled base
