  Kit is a graduate of the University of Tasmania and is represented by Australian Galleries. Kit is the recipient of numerous prizes and awards including the Portia Geach Memorial Prize (in 1986, 1987 and 2009), and the Tasmanian of the year award in 1987. Her work has also been included in group exhibitions including the Archibald Prize (1982 – 1986) and the Glover Prize (2005). Kit’s work is represented in the collections of the Queen Victoria Museum and Gallery, Tasmania and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, Artbank and several university and regional collections.
