  marked 'Zeesung, Silver," with character marks to base. Embossed dragon decoration to lid and sides. Engraved monogram to centre of lid, with further engraving to rims of lid, and dedication dated 1939 in Charbin..Wood lined. (Zeesung was a respected Shanghai silver maker during the early 20th century). Length 16cm approx Height 6cm approx. Weight 468grams approx. (total).
