Lot Description:An 18ct Yellow Gold Hunting Cased Quarter Repeating Pocket Watch
Keyless 32 jewel movement with lever escapement. White face ,minor hairline fault, with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Quarter repeat on two gongs operated by a slide in the band, push-button for hand-set. Swiss, maker unknown but numbered 10401, Geneve. Restrained engine turned decoration, vacant cartouche. Cuvette also 18ct gold. Repeat sounding well and appears to be synchronised to hands. Going but would benefit from service to movement. With box from supplier. Theodor Tappe of Berlin. 105.5g. -
