  with brass strapping and binding, with leather strap handles to the sides and double lock mechanism to the front with escutcheon covers marked by Madler, Germany. The hinged lid with a plaque bearing the original owner’s initials, a later owner’s name engraved on the strapping. 640 x 440 x 570.
