coloured engraving of painting by Edward W.J. HOPLEY (English 1816-1869), the lithograph published 1856 in London by Henry Graves & Co. Scene depicts the arrival in Australia of a primrose sent from England in full bloom, which caused 'a sensation' when it arrived in the Colony. 54cms X 72cms approx. -
