the bowl engraved “Presented to the Grant & Polwarth Coursing Club by Donald Banlock Esq. for Competition between the Winners of the Derby & Oaks, May 28. 1878” and “Won by Mr. Geo. Thornton’s Uncle Ned” within embossed floral swags raised on a bombed base with the figures of two grey hounds, stamped “E.FISCHER/GEELONG/STRLG” 22.5 cm high, 375 grams -
