  William Merric Boyd (Act. Circa 1908-1944) Victoria, Dated 1937 - An Earthenware Vase
  0f waisted cylindrical form, with a branch handle, painted with a rural scene and with further sgraffito details, incised to base Merric Boyd, ALTAMIRA WARE, 1937, 17cm high. Note: Altamira Pottery in Murrumbeena was established by Hatton Beck, husband of Lucy Boyd and later sold to Arthur Merric Bloomfield Boyd in 1944.
