  Thousand Flower vases, reign marks to base, 21cm high.
• Provenance:
  The Japanese government present these vases to General McCarthur who gave them to the Australian Colonel Mullely, who was his Chief of Staff, in appreciation. When Colonel Mullely died, his affects were auctioned at his Clifton Garden home in 1975.
