  Len Castle stoneware pottery vase
  ovoid form, rope type impressed sides, faint texture evident, pale glaze effects including rich deep red, blue glazed interior. Double impressed mark. Height 160.
• Provenance:
  From the collection of Jack Smith. Jack grew up in 1940s and 50s Grey Lynn with the Castle’s as his near neighbour. Jack appreciated the arts community, a builder and yachtie, he kept contact with Len and was a regular supporter. Part of Jack’s collection was sold previously at Cordy’s in March 2010.
