Notes:Originally commissioned in bronze by Roger Fry for his garden at "Durbins", near Regate, Surrey. This is one of a handful of plaster casts prepared by the Fry family. Fry created the Omega Workshop in 1913, & met the sculptor in 1914, who produced designs for marquetry trays & garden ornaments for Fry's Workshop. Gift of Roger Fry's son, Julian Fry, to Lewis Morley, London 1968.
