Lot Description:An impressive 19thC French ormolu chandelier
of eight scrolling leaf and floral branches, each with two candle sconces, the decorative baluster long column with conforming leaf and floral forms, each sconce fitted with a Baccarat crystal drip tray. Height 1200, diameter 900. -
Provenance:Ex. a Château in Chambray, a commune in the Eure department of Northern France. The ancestral home of the Marquis de Venevelles d'Espagne. The Chateau being commandeered during war time and abandoned after, the government selling off the assets.
