  A good mid/late 20thC Maori carved whalebone wahaika
  with traditional notch to one side of blade (to catch an opponent’s weapon, traditional stylised figure to the other side, stylised carved head in profile to the butt, set with paua shell eye, tapered lashing hole, good patina and polish, finely detailed. Length 340. Not registered.
