  An unmarked silver chinoiserie decorated cigar tube
  to hold six demi-coronas, engraved with Chinese figures amongst a profusion of foliate tendrils, one side with a cartouche engraved with monogram ‘VLS’, each end engraved with a mandarin, one end opening to reveal a small compartment for vestas. Length 140.
• Provenance:
  This lot is offered on behalf of our vendor who received them as part of his family’s estate dispersal made in 1969 in England. The pieces are listed in a typescript appraisal of the time along with a broad collection of Oriental Objects
