Tis a Gentle Thing’, inscribed on the mount ‘To J.M. Munro. Kia Ora Ehoa, C.F. Goldie, June 1938’. A label in Goldie’s hand affixed verso ‘Pokai A Chieftain of the Ngatimaru Tribe, Thames, Exhibited at the Royal Academy London 1936, and at the Salon Paris 1937’. 210 x 185.
