  Singelase Silver Mounted Piha-Kaetta
  7" single edged blade with dark grey patina & lt staining; beautiful silver decoration to back edge & forte; grip of characteristic form mounted in silver with intricate carving; complete with silver mounted, carved wooden scabbard; sheet silver peeling away, the top of scabbard intact o/w vg cond. An excellent example of these early knives. Circa mid 19th C.
