  New Zealand Issue B.S.A. Mk.I* Metford B/A Training Rifle
  22 Cal; 30.2" barrel; g. bore; rear sight has been recalibrated for the 22 Cal system & having protective wings around the front sight, the same as the charger loader Lee Enfield rifle; dial sight on lhs is slightly pitted; rear lobbing sight still intact; N.Z. issue stamps to the breech & àSß; receiver ring marked NZ á, ROYAL CYPHER VR B.S.A. & M CO & dated 1892 & 1*; g. profiles & clear markings; bluish finish to barrel, bolt & fittings; rifle has been converted to s/shot by adding a wooden plug to the mag housing; g. orig stock with minor bruising; butt stock has been reduced in size for the Cadets; bolt & receiver match; all complete, gwo & vg cond.
