54 bore; 5 shot; 153mm (6") oct barrel with top flat marked DEAN & SONS 30 KING WILLIAM STREET LONDON BRIDGE; rhs of frame marked THE DEAN HARDING PATENT NO.49; frame has borderline & foliate engraving with pivoting safety attached to the top strap; g. profiles; clear address & engraving; silver grey patina to barrel & frame; soft grey to cylinder with traces of case hardened colours; lhs of frame has traces of orig blue in protected areas; vg orig chequered walnut grips; all complete; gwo & vg cond. Presented in orig oak case with vacant round escutcheon to lid; Dean & Son Gun makers by appointment to His Royal Highness Prince Albert London Bridge trade label; partitioned & lined in blue velvet with a full compliment of vg accessories. -
