  Factory Engraved Colt 1849 Pocket Percussion Revolver
  31 Cal; 127mm (5") barrel; 5 shot cylinder; SAMUEL COLT engraved to top barrel flat & Colt’s patent in a banner to lhs of frame; frame, barrel, loading lever, back strap & t/guard are all engraved in the donut style, commonly used in the 1851 period; rhs of barrel lug has faint engraving of a deer; rhs has a faint dog at bay; g. profiles & clear engraving; soft grey untouched patina to barrel, frame & cylinder; al donut style engraving sharp; retaining 80% orig silver plate to back strap & t/guard; fitted with vg walnut one pc grips with minor scratches; all compete & matching including wedge; gwo & vg cond.
