  vg 12" single edged blade with minor staining to sml areas, scalloped back edge, engraved with thistles & foliage; ricasso marked with á & inspection approval stamps; obverse side ROBERT MOLE & SONS MAKERS BIRMINGHAM & issue date of 1901; silver ferrule marked 7/9 R.S. over C; vg carved wooden hilt of traditional form with Celtic strap work & silver studs; steel pommel with ROYAL CYPHER to the top; complete with correct leather & silver mounted scabbard with thistle motifs; all complete. A vg Scottish dirk of the period.
