  Joseph Child S/B Percussion (Erotica) Holster Pistol
  25 bore; 10½" oct barrel inlaid with floral silver designs & 2 gold bands at the breech; foliate engraved back action lock marked CHILD; erotic chisel engraving scenes of male & female form to cock & cock holding screw; silver mounted with stand of flags casting to t/guard & cross cannon finial; silver eared butt cap with lion's head & cannon trophies & flags around the outside perimeter; g. profiles; crisp & clear markings; all inlay intact to barrel; a couple of sml areas of silver wire inlay missing from stock; silver escutcheon to wrist with stand of flags, cannon & drums; g. stock with minor bruising & German silver nose cap; all complete; gwo & cond. C.1836. Pistol was made for the Turkish market.
